If you’re driving through Haldwani and pass the Gas Godam Chouraha on Kaladhungi Road, that’s where you’ll find us. Namasteyuk.Com is based right near the Central Hospital, so it’s a busy intersection with a lot going on. There’s always an ambulance siren or the sound of people shouting at the crossing. Our office is a modest little place tucked into the building there. We’ve got a couple of old desks and some shelving where we keep travel brochures that we’ve collected over time. It’s not a polished environment by any means. The floor has a few scuffs and the curtains are a bit faded from the sun. We spend our days mostly answering emails and talking to people who stop by after their hospital visits or while they’re waiting for someone. It’s a very human place to work because we see so much of the local life right outside our window. We usually have a pot of tea going, and the smell of the nearby food stalls often wafts in during the afternoon. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that; we just show up and do the work of organizing trips. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people come in at once, but we make it work. Gas Godam Chouraha is a landmark in itself, so we’re glad to be right in the thick of it. We just do our bit here every day.
