Larsen&Toubro

We are set up here in Gethia, which is a small village area in the hills of Uttaranchal. If you haven't been to this part of the country, it's very different from the loud cities. Our office is right here near the P.O. and it gets quite chilly in the winter months. Most of us who work here have gotten used to the winding roads and the quiet mornings. Sometimes the mist just rolls in and covers everything, making it hard to see the road, but that's just part of living in the mountains. We spend most of our days dealing with various projects that come through this branch of Larsen&Toubro. It’s a lot of paperwork and coordinating with people, but being out here makes the work feel a bit more grounded. We don't have a big fancy glass building like the ones in Mumbai. It’s a practical space where we get things done. People around here know where we are, right in the heart of the village. The local tea stalls are where we usually end up during breaks, talking about the weather or the local news. It’s not a fast-paced life, but we stay busy enough. We've been at this address for a while now, and the locals are used to seeing us around. It feels like a small community even though the company itself is huge. We just focus on our tasks day by day and try to keep things running smoothly in this corner of the state.
