Up here on the Almora Road, near Kainchi and P.O. Bhowali, is where you’ll find Plantiss Agro-Tech Pvt. Ltd. The location is quite beautiful, being in the hills, but it also means we have to deal with some tough terrain and cold winters. Our facility isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We’re mostly focused on the technical side of things here, so the atmosphere is usually pretty quiet and concentrated. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic because of where we’re situated, which actually helps us get more done. Most of us who work here live in the Bhowali area, so we’re used to the winding roads and the way the mist rolls in during the mornings. It’s a different kind of workplace than what you’d find down in the plains. We have to be a bit more self-reliant out here. If something breaks, we usually have to figure out how to fix it ourselves. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a lounge area; we just have our desks and our equipment. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We’ve been here for a while now and have become a small part of the local landscape. We just keep doing our daily tasks and making sure everything is handled the right way. It’s a steady life in a very scenic part of the country.
