Joshi Taxi Service

Joshi Taxi Service is based out of the Haldiyani area, specifically near the Footkuwa Ganna Centre on Rampur Road. It’s a practical spot for us because of all the activity around the sugar cane centre. We spend most of our time in our cars or standing around the Ganna Centre talking to the farmers and travelers. The Rampur Road is always busy with people moving between Nainital and the surrounding districts. We have been running these taxis for quite some time now and we know every bump in the road. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning; it’s more of a local hub where we keep our keys and records. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in the state, just a reliable set of wheels for whoever needs them. Sometimes we take people on long trips to the mountains, and other days it’s just short runs around town. The cars get a bit worn out from the heavy use, but we do our best to fix things ourselves when we can. It’s a straightforward life. We wake up early, check the petrol, and wait for the first call of the day. If the weather is good, we stay busy. If it rains, things slow down a bit. We’re just local folks providing a way to get around this part of Nainital without making things complicated or expensive for the neighbors.
