Gurvinder Singh Chadha Foundation

We’re located in Haldwani, right over at Mangal Paraw on the BLY Road. We work out of the space with Gagandeep Chadha. It’s a busy part of town, always lots of trucks and people moving about on the Bareilly Road. It can get pretty dusty and loud with all the traffic, but being right in the thick of it helps us stay connected to what's happening. Our foundation is a small operation. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a glass building. It’s just a regular storefront where we keep our files and meet people. Most of our days are spent talking to folks who stop by with different issues or questions. We try to be helpful without making things complicated. We aren't corporate people with suits and ties; we’re just locals who wanted to give something back to the community. We’ve seen Haldwani change a lot over the years, and we just want to play our small part in keeping things going well. The office gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of visitors, but we make do with extra stools and some hot tea. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall, we just look at what needs to be done today and try to do it. It’s a practical way to run things, and it suits our style perfectly. We’re here most days if anyone needs us, just look for the shop near the BLY Road junction.
