If you head down Hapur Road in Meerut and turn into the Dheer Khera Industrial Area, you will eventually find us at Khasra No 671. That’s where Outica Casting And Engineering is set up. It’s a rugged part of town, filled with factories and warehouses, and we fit right in. Our building is a typical engineering shed where there’s always something being cast or machined. The air usually smells of metal and cooling oil, and there’s a layer of fine dust on everything that doesn’t move. It’s not a place for suits and ties; we wear work clothes that can get dirty. We spend our days managing the furnace or checking the specs on a new batch of parts. The industrial area can be a bit chaotic with trucks squeezing through the gates, but we’ve learned to navigate it. It’s a loud place, full of the sounds of clanging metal and heavy engines. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy lobby. We just have our workspace and the tools we need to do our engineering work. Some days are long, especially when we have a big order to get through, but we just keep at it. Meerut has a lot of places like ours, and we’re just one of the shops on Hapur Road doing what we know how to do.
