This is the Department Of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care at the Govt. Medical College & Associated Hospitals. We are located out on Rampur Road in Haldwani. It’s a big place and can get quite hectic most days. Being part of a government hospital means there’s always something going on and plenty of people walking the hallways. We spend our time between the operating rooms and the critical care units. Haldwani is a busy town and Rampur Road is one of those main stretches that always has traffic. Working here means you see a lot of different things every single day. We don’t have much time for fancy office stuff because the work keeps us on our feet. It’s a lot of long hours and drinking tea when we can find a spare minute. The building is older but it serves its purpose for the community. We are just one part of the bigger medical college setup here. Most of us have lived around here for a while so we’re used to the pace. It’s not a quiet job by any means. There’s always the sound of machines or people talking in the corridors. We just try to do our part in the department and keep things moving along. It’s honest work and we’re just regular people trying to help out where we can on Rampur Road. The hospital is a landmark here and we are just a small part of it.
