Cheeringlife Foundation

Our place is up in Sanguri Gaon, specifically in Ward Number 2. We are located with Hem Chandra Dani here in Bhimtal. If you’ve ever been to this part of the world, you know it’s a bit of a climb to get to some of these villages. Cheeringlife Foundation has its small office right in the middle of this area. It’s a peaceful spot, away from the main tourist crowds that usually gather down by the lake. We don’t have much in the way of high-tech gear. Most of our work is done with just a few basic tools and a lot of time. The air is clear up here, but the winters can get a bit chilly in these houses. We just put on another sweater and keep at it. Living and working in a village like Sanguri Gaon means you see the same faces every day. We don’t use any corporate talk or try to sound like we’re bigger than we are. We’re just a small group of people in a house. There isn't a dedicated parking lot or a grand entrance. You just walk up the path and find us. We handle our day-to-day tasks as they come. It’s a slow and steady way of doing things, but it’s honest work. We like being tucked away in the hills where we can focus without too much distraction.
