Balaji Surgicals

If you find the Champion Gym in Mallagorakhpur, you’ve basically found us. Balaji Surgicals is right across the way from where all those people go to lift weights. It’s a bit of a funny contrast, having a surgical supply place next to a gym. We deal with a lot of stainless steel items, so the shop feels a bit cold sometimes. There are boxes stacked up almost to the rafters because the space isn't as big as we’d like. We have to move three things just to get to one item at the back. The floor is tiled, and we try to keep it mopped, but people bring in dirt from the street all day long. Mallagorakhpur is a crowded area, so there’s always someone shouting or a bike honking outside. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the board out front. Inside, it's very quiet compared to the street. We spend our time checking orders and making sure the instruments are packed correctly so they don't get dented. It’s a lot of paperwork and bubble wrap, to be honest. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place where you can get the tools you need. When the gym closes up, that’s usually when we start thinking about heading home too. It’s just a regular shop in a busy neighborhood.
