Aalia Wood Craft

Aalia Wood Craft is located right inside the Haldwani Furniture Mart on Mall Road. It's a busy area and there's always something going on outside. We spend most of our time in the back working. You can usually hear the sound of tools if you walk by. Mall Road is a good place for a shop like ours because people are always walking past. We’ve been part of the furniture mart for a long time now. It’s crowded with all sorts of things, but we have our own corner where we get things done. Some days are busier than others. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the trade. People stop in while they are out shopping for other things. We talk to them, show them what’s currently on the floor, and that’s about it. There’s no big sales pitch here. We just do what we do. The dust from the wood gets everywhere, but you get used to it after a week. It’s hard work and it gets hot in the summer months, especially with the sun hitting Mall Road. But we like being in Haldwani. It feels like home to us. If you come by the mart, you’ll find us easily enough. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't make a fuss about much.
