Organic Garden

Our place is located in the Main Market in Diwani, right near the Hanuman Mandir. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells ringing throughout the day, which provides a nice background sound to our daily work. The market itself is always crowded, with people pushing carts and shoppers looking for the best prices on everything. Organic Garden is a small shop squeezed into this very busy commercial area. We have plants and bags of supplies stacked up wherever they will fit on the floor. It is a bit of a maze inside sometimes, but we know exactly where everything is located. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the dirt and dried leaves that get tracked in from the street by customers. The front of the shop stays wide open so we can see everything that is going on in the market outside. It gets very loud with the temple crowds and the other vendors calling out, but we have gotten used to the noise by now. We do not have a fancy office or a big computer system to track things. We just use a simple notebook to keep track of what we sell and what we need to order more of for next week. People often stop by after they visit the temple, and we end up chatting about the weather or the news.
