Yogya Sustainable Solutions Foundation

We are the Yogya Sustainable Solutions Foundation, over here in Seminary Hills, right behind the Veterinary College in Nagpur. If you know Gajanan Society, we’re at House No. 65. It’s a quiet spot, and the college kids are always walking around nearby. Mostly, we just work on things that help the environment and try to find ways to keep things going without wasting much. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a small group of us sitting around trying to figure out how to do things better for the long run. People often ask what we actually do all day. Well, we look at problems and see if there is a more sustainable way to handle them. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, but we do what we can from here. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to ask questions about their plants or their trash. Nagpur gets really hot, so we spend a lot of time thinking about how to keep things green and practical. It’s a lot of trial and error really. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just some desks, some old computers, and some ideas. We’ve been at this for a bit now. We keep our overhead low and just focus on the projects at hand. If you’re walking near the college, you’ve probably passed our place a dozen times without even realizing it. We’re just regular folks trying to be useful. There is always something to fix.
