Wildlands Conservation Foundation

We started Wildlands Conservation Foundation a while back here in Nagpur. Most people find us over at House No. 5429 on Hawara Pethring Road in Shukla Nagar. It's a quiet enough spot for what we do. Dealing with nature and conservation isn't always easy or fast, but it’s what keeps us busy every day. We spend a lot of time working on different projects around the area. The office is right on Plot No. 7. If you’re driving down the ring road, you’ve probably passed by us without even noticing. It’s just a regular building where a few of us sit and handle the paperwork and planning. We try to keep things simple and focus on the ground work. Being in a place like Nagpur means there is plenty to look at when it comes to the outdoors. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and it suits us just fine. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic with all the different things happening at once, but that's how it goes. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s mostly just desks, maps, and some old files stacked up. People come by when they need to talk about land or animals. We are usually here during the week, unless we are out in the field somewhere. It's a practical setup. We just do our part from this corner of Shukla Nagar and try to stay organized as much as possible. It is a humble place but we get the jobs done.
