Western Coalfields Ltd. Nagpur

Over in Tukum, Chandrapur, you’ll find our Western Coalfields Ltd. office right behind the Carmel Academy School. We are at Pratik Vihar. It’s a convenient location because everyone knows where the school is, so we never have to give long directions. Being in Chandrapur, we are right in the heart of the mining belt in Maharashtra. The office here at Pratik Vihar is where we manage a lot of the local staffing and field coordination. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for the desks and the files we need for the daily grind. We see a lot of people coming in and out, especially during shift changes. It can get a bit noisy with the school nearby, but we don't mind the energy. We’ve kept this office running for quite some time now without much fuss. There aren't any glossy brochures or big marketing displays here. We just have the name on the door and our work to do. The weather in Chandrapur is notoriously tough, so we mostly focus on staying cool and getting the reports filed on time. It’s a basic setup, but it serves the purpose for Western Coalfields. We are just local people doing a job that needs doing. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up when the electricity goes out, but we catch up eventually. That is just how it goes in this part of the country.
