Mayur Electricals

If you need a bulb or some wire, you can find Mayur Electricals at Shop No. 21 in the Wadi Shila Complex. We’ve been in this complex for a good number of years now. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep it packed with all the things people might need for their homes. We have switches, fans, various types of cables, and those little things that always seem to break at the wrong time. Usually, it’s just me or one of the boys behind the counter. We spend a lot of time testing things for customers to make sure they work before they take them home. The Wadi Shila Complex gets a lot of foot traffic, which keeps us on our feet. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city. We just want to be the place where the locals can get their electrical stuff fixed or replaced without having to drive across town. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy with boxes everywhere, but we know where everything is. People come in asking for advice on what wire to use or which tube light is better, and we tell them what we think. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the shop here. We open up in the morning and stay until the lights in the complex go out.
