Vspm College Of Physiotherapy And Lata Mangeshkar Hospital

Out here in Digdoh Hills on Hingna Road we have a pretty large setup with both the physiotherapy college and the hospital. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city but the hills make for a different kind of environment. You’ll see students walking around with their books and white coats almost all day long. They’re learning how to help people move better and it’s a lot of work for them. The hospital side stays busy with all kinds of patients coming in from the surrounding areas. The halls are long and it can take a few minutes to get from one end to the other if you’re in a hurry. We have a lot of equipment for the therapy sessions like those big exercise balls and parallel bars that the students use for practice. It’s a noisy place sometimes with the sound of people talking and the machines running in the background. The staff rooms are usually cluttered with paperwork and half-finished cups of tea because there’s never enough time to sit down for long. We don’t have a lot of time for corporate meetings or polishing up how we look to the outside world. We’re mostly focused on the patients and the students getting their training done. Hingna Road is always under some kind of construction it seems so getting here can be a bit of a hassle but we’ve been here long enough that people know the way and come regardless.
