Our business, Viraj Forging Ltd, has its roots in Tarapur and Mumbai, but you’ll find us operating out of Parsodi Road in Nagpur. It’s a bit of a distance from the coast, but we’ve settled into this part of Maharashtra just fine. The office here isn't anything special. It’s a functional building on a road that gets pretty dusty when the trucks go by. Inside, we have our workspace set up with the basics. We deal with forging, so it’s not exactly a clean, white-glove kind of job. We often have bits of metal samples or heavy tools lying around the place. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or corporate retreats. We’re more about the practical side of the industry. The team here is a mix of people who have been with us for years and some newer faces. We eat our lunch together most days and talk about local news or how the cricket match went. It’s an honest, hard-working environment. We don't have a PR person telling us how to sound or what to write on a website. We just tell it like it is. If a job is going to be difficult, we say so. We’ve been on Parsodi Road for a while now and we’ve become part of the local scenery. It’s just a straightforward operation where we do our work and try to keep things moving forward for everyone involved.
