You can find Vimal Medicals & Generals over in Bagadganj, specifically inside the Dr. Vairgades Building. We are right by Gangabai Ghat Square, which is a really busy part of Nagpur. If you know the area, you know how much traffic passes through here every single day. The noise of the horns and the people outside never really stops. We handle a mix of things here, mostly medicines and some general items people need for their houses. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, checking prescriptions while someone else is asking for a bottle of shampoo or some detergent. The shop isn't massive, so we have to use every inch of wall space for shelves. I've spent many years behind this counter, watching the city change around us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the lanterns, but we stay open. My family has been involved with this for a while now. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just us and maybe a helper or two during the rush hours. People stop in because they’re coming from the hospital or just heading home to the apartments nearby. It's a straightforward business. We keep the stock updated as best as we can and try to help anyone who walks through the door at 79, Dr. Vairgades Building. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but that is just how it goes. We do not have any fancy brochures.
