We are located at number 39 on the main road in Shanti Nagar, Athpeth. It’s a busy street and our place is right in the thick of it. The building is a regular one, nothing that stands out from the other shops and offices nearby. We deal with both jewellery and diamonds, so our days are split between looking at metalwork and checking stones. It can be a bit loud with the traffic noise coming in from the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small staff and we all know each other well, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. There’s always a pile of ledgers on the desk that needs attention and someone is usually on the phone talking to a customer or a vendor. We don't have any big mission statements or fancy slogans on the wall. We just show up in the morning, open the safes, and start the day’s work. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in or when we need to finish a specific piece of jewellery for someone. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, but it works for what we need to do. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’ve been around this area long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us by name. It’s just a normal business running in a normal neighborhood, and we like it that way.
