Vidarbha Utthan Foundation

Our office is located at House No. 9 in Sonba Nagar, which is in the Lawa Wadi area of Nagpur. Nagpur is our home, and being in Lawa Wadi puts us in a part of town that feels very much like a community. The house isn't very big, but it’s where we manage everything for the foundation. It’s a residential-style building, so it doesn't look like a typical business office from the outside. We have a small sign, but it’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Inside, it is just a few rooms filled with desks and papers. The street outside is usually quiet, except for the occasional scooter or kids playing nearby. We like being in Sonba Nagar because it’s not as chaotic as the center of the city. We have a small yard out front where a few plants grow, though they struggle a bit in the Nagpur heat. The monsoon season makes everything green for a while, which is nice to see from the office door. We don't have a lot of fancy technology or modern furniture. Most of what we have is stuff we’ve used for years. It’s a humble setup, but it’s our base. We spend our days here answering calls, writing letters, and keeping track of our projects. It’s just a normal house where people are trying to do some good for the Vidarbha region.
