Vid Tech Systems

If you ever find yourself in Sita Buldi, you’ll know it’s one of the busiest places around. Our office, Vid Tech Systems, is tucked away on the second floor of Laxmi Plaza at Modi No. 3. It’s a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it, and the hallway can be a little dark if the bulbs aren't changed on time. We’ve been here for a while, and the location is great because everything you could ever need is right outside the door. Of course, that means it’s never actually quiet. There is always the sound of horns or people shouting in the market below. We do technical work, mostly fixing things or setting up systems for people. The office is full of spare parts and boxes that we keep meaning to organize better. Our desks are pushed close together because the space isn't huge, but it makes it easier to ask each other questions without getting up. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It’s an informal place. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day, which helps when things get stressful. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just life in this part of town. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just do the job and stay out of trouble.
