Vedic Math

Our place is located in Nagpur, specifically in the 440008 region. We focus on Vedic Math here. It’s a bit different from what kids usually see in their regular schools. The office is small and filled with papers and scribbled notes on the walls. We don’t have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the address. It’s just a plain room with some benches and a small area for me to sit. I’ve lived in Nagpur all my life, and setting this up was just something that felt right. It isn't a high-tech center with tablets or anything. We use pencils, paper, and our heads. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, which can be a bit distracting, but we just ignore it. The 440008 area is fairly busy, but our street is a little tucked away. I spend a lot of time thinking about numbers and how to explain them better to whoever walks in. We don't have a formal registration process with lots of forms. Usually, it's just a conversation with the parents and then we start. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. I usually wear my regular clothes, and the students do too. It feels more like a study group at someone’s house than a formal school. That’s just how we like to run things here. There is no need for anything more complicated than that for us.
