Trekla Adventure Foundation

We've been hanging around the Sadar area for a while now, specifically near the Patni Automobiles and Hotel Dua Continental on Kamptee Road. It's a busy spot in Nagpur, but we like it here. People often ask what Trekla Adventure Foundation actually does on a day-to-day basis. We spend a lot of our time organizing trips and getting folks out into the fresh air. It isn't always glamorous work. Sometimes it’s just sorting out gear or talking to people about where they want to go next. Being on Mount Road keeps us right in the middle of things. We started this because we liked being outside ourselves, and it just sort of grew into this foundation. It's not a big corporate office with shiny floors. Most days, there’s a bit of dust and a lot of maps laying around. We try to keep things simple. If someone walks in, they'll probably find one of us drinking tea and looking at a trail guide. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. It's just a space where we get work done and plan the next outing. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it's quiet. We just take it as it comes. Being in Nagpur gives us decent access to a few different spots, and we’re happy to be part of the local community here near the hotel. It’s a decent place to work from.
