Tourist Inn Restaurant

Running Tourist Inn Restaurant on Malviya Road is a lot of work, but we have been doing it for a long time. We are right opposite Janki Cinema in Sitabuldi. When a movie lets out, we get a big rush of people looking for a meal or just a quick snack. It gets very loud and busy in here, which is just the way we like it. The kitchen starts early in the morning, long before the sun is really up. We have a small team of cooks and servers who have been with us for years. It is not a fancy place with white tablecloths or expensive decor. We just have sturdy tables and food that tastes like it was made at home. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure everything is ready for the next day. Sometimes the fridge acts up or we run out of a certain ingredient, and we have to run to the market nearby to grab what we need. Sitabuldi is a crazy place to have a business because of the crowds, but it means we never get bored. We don't do much advertising. People usually just see the sign while they are walking to the cinema or the shops. It is a simple life of serving food and talking to the regulars who have been coming here since they were kids. We just keep the stoves hot and the water glasses full.
