Tlm Kothara Community Hospital

Tlm Kothara Community Hospital is based in Amravati district, specifically in the P.O. Paratwada area. Being a community hospital means we deal with a lot of different things every single day. The setting here in Amravati is quite different from the big urban centers, and we like it that way. We get a lot of people coming in from the nearby rural areas who need a hand with their health. I’ve spent many years here, and the hospital has become a bit like a second home. It’s a practical building, nothing too flashy, but it has what we need to take care of the folks around Paratwada. The days can be long, especially when the weather is particularly harsh, but the community relies on us being here. We aren't some big corporate chain; we’re just a local place trying to do our part. You’ll often see families sitting together in the waiting area, sharing news while they wait for their appointments. It has that kind of feel to it. I try to make sure I talk to as many people as I can during my rounds. Sometimes we run low on supplies or have to wait for a delivery from the city, but we make do with what we have. It’s honest work, and seeing someone get better and head back home is what keeps us going through the busy weeks.
