Around the Bypass Chowk in Umred, you’ll find us over at Tirupati Balaji Crane Services. We are situated right near the Tata Company, which makes it pretty easy for folks to find the yard. Most days it’s just us dealing with the machines and making sure everything is ready when a call comes in. It gets dusty out here by the road, but that is part of the job when you are working with heavy equipment. We have been in this spot for a while now. The Dist. area is busy, especially with all the trucks passing through. We spend a lot of time checking engines or fixing chains. Sometimes the weather is hot and we just sit in the shade for a minute before the next job starts up. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the yard and the cranes. We just try to get the work done without making a big fuss about it. If you are heading down the bypass, you can see our signs near the turn. It is a practical kind of life here. We see a lot of the same drivers coming and going from the nearby plants. It’s just how things go in this part of town, keeping the gears turning and making sure the cranes are where they need to be. Some days are slow, but usually, there is something that needs lifting or moving nearby.
