The Bista Spalon Academy

The Bista Spalon Academy. Our place is tucked into Shop No. B 3 at the Sai Prahlad Complex. It’s right on Dr Ambedkar Marg in Nagpur, near Indora Chowk. If you’ve ever been to Jaswant Tuli Mall, we aren’t far from there at all. It’s a busy corner of the 440017 area. We handle both the salon side and the academy part here, so it’s often a bit noisy with students learning and customers getting things done. There’s always someone practicing with a pair of scissors or talking about a specific style. The complex itself has a lot of different shops, so there’s a good bit of foot traffic coming through Dr Ambedkar Marg. It isn't a massive, polished corporate office; it’s more of a working space where people actually learn the trade. We have benches, mirrors, and all the tools scattered around where they’re needed. Some days it feels a bit crowded, but that’s just how an academy works. Most of the folks who come here are from around Nagpur or the surrounding spots. We spend a lot of time just showing people how to handle hair or skin properly. It’s practical work. No one is wearing suits or trying to look like a big executive. We’re just here in B 3, doing what we do every day. You can usually hear the sound of hair dryers going if you walk past.
