Thakre Clinic

Thakre Clinic is located right at Jai Bhim Square in Hiwari Nagar, Nagpur. It’s a shop-front style clinic, so you can see us right from the road. Nagpur gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so our main concern is usually keeping the ceiling fans running at full speed. The area around Jai Bhim Square is always lively, with lots of traffic and people walking by at all hours. Our clinic is just a simple room divided into a few sections. We have a small area where people wait, and the chairs are just basic plastic ones that we can stack up if we need to clean the floor. It’s not the most modern place you’ll ever visit, but it’s clean and it’s where we do our work every day. People from Hiwari Nagar know they can just drop in when they aren't feeling well. We don't have a big receptionist or a computer system; we just write things down in a big ledger. Sometimes the noise from the square makes it hard to hear, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We take pride in just being a regular part of the street. There’s no fancy branding or marketing here, just a small sign out front and a door that stays open for whoever needs to come in during our regular hours. We're just neighbors helping neighbors with their health.
