Tanushree Surgicals is tucked away on the 1st Floor of the G. M. Market in Gandhi Bagh. Specifically, we are at No. 40- A & B. Being in Gandhi Bagh means we are right in the middle of a lot of wholesale trading and market bustle. The first floor gets a lot of foot traffic from people looking for different supplies. Our space is filled with boxes and surgical items, and it can feel a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in. We spend a lot of time just counting inventory and making sure the orders are correct. It’s a very hands-on job, and we usually have ink on our fingers from the ledgers or tape from the boxes. G. M. Market is an older building, so it has that specific market smell and feel that you don't really get in the new malls. We like it that way because it feels real and hardworking. There is no corporate polish here, just us in our shirtsleeves working through the stacks. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy market like this, there is always a bit of a mess somewhere that needs cleaning. We open up the shutters, check the list of what needs to go out, and get to it. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and Gandhi Bagh is a good place to be if you want to be where the action is every day.
