Swayukta Charitable Foundation

Our foundation is located in Nagpur, specifically in the Itwari area on C.A. Road. We are at Plot No.472/A, right by Daroadkar Square. The building is known as Nikalsmandir. It’s the home of Santosh Ambekar’s family, and we have our workspace set up here. Itwari is one of the busiest market areas you could imagine. There are people everywhere and the sounds of trucks and carts are constant. Our office is a bit of a refuge from all that chaos outside. It’s not very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. We have a few old computers and a lot of registers stacked up. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because a lot of dust comes in from C.A. Road. We usually start our day early before the heat gets too bad. Nagpur summers are no joke, so we try to get the heavy work done in the morning. We drink a lot of water and keep the windows shut to block out some of the noise. People from the neighborhood drop in quite often just to say hello or ask for help with something. It’s a very community-oriented spot. We don't have a polished look or a big lobby. It’s just a room where we work hard and try to stay organized amidst the busy city life.
