This Sunflag Iron & Steel Co.Ltd office is actually located in Khaperkheda, which is a bit outside Nagpur. We are set up in Prakash Nagar, right inside the MSEB Colony area. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main city traffic. You can find us at E-106/5. A lot of the people who work here come from the surrounding Maharashtra area. We spend our days looking at steel prices and coordinating with the main Bhandara plant. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking manifests. The office has a few desks and some old chairs that have been here forever. It’s nothing special to look at, but it works for us. We get the job done without making a big fuss or using fancy talk. The weather in Nagpur gets really intense in the summer months, so we try to finish the heavy lifting early in the morning before it gets too hot to breathe. We see the same faces every day in the colony. Most people know we handle the iron and steel stuff for the company. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine in the corner. We just brew a pot of tea in the back on a small stove. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we like the people we work with. We stay focused on the paperwork and the trucks coming in from the highway.
