Sunflag Iron & Steel Co Ltd

This branch of Sunflag Iron & Steel is located in the Sunflag Colony on Bhandara Road. It’s a bit of a distance out in the Bhandara district, so it has a different feel than the city offices. We are based at the Dilip P. Jumade spot within the colony. Living and working in a company colony means you see the same people at the office and at the market, which makes for a close-knit group. The area is dominated by the steel industry, so everything around here is connected to the plant in one way or another. Our daily routine involves a lot of logistics and keeping track of what’s moving on Bhandara Road. It’s a dusty area because of all the heavy trucks, but the colony itself has some green patches. The office is functional and a bit old-fashioned. We have big fans on the ceiling that hum all day while we work through the stacks of forms. It gets very hot here in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy work done early. We don't have fancy furniture or a modern lobby. It’s just desks, chairs, and filing cabinets. Most of us have been here for years, and we just focus on doing our jobs and getting home to our families in the colony. It’s a simple life, focused on the steel business and the local community that lives right here.
