Sumer Marble

Sumer Marble is located at 69, Lakadganj, right near the Lakadganj Garden. It’s a good spot because the garden gives us a bit of green to look at, even though the rest of the area is quite busy with trade and transport. Working with marble means things can get quite heavy and sometimes a bit messy with the stone dust, but we don't mind. Our yard and office at number 69 are always full of different slabs and off-cuts. We spend most of our day walking around showing people the different patterns in the stone and talking about which ones are more durable. We aren't the type to use a lot of sales talk. If a piece of marble has a crack or a weird mark, we’ll point it out rather than trying to hide it. Lakadganj is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other yards and shops nearby. The office is just a small cabin where we keep the invoices and a computer that’s a bit slow. We don't have a big corporate structure; it’s just us making sure the cranes are working and the customers get their marble delivered without any drama. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. But it feels good to see a truck loaded up and heading out to a new house.
