Down in Dattawadi, we spend our days working with all kinds of plastic goods. It’s a busy little setup we have here. We make or sell various plastic items that people use in their homes or for their small businesses. Plastic is one of those things everyone needs but nobody thinks about much until they need a bucket, a container, or some piping. Our shop stays pretty full of stock, so you have to watch your step sometimes when you walk in. We’ve been in Dattawadi for a while now and most of the people who live nearby know we’re here. The work involves a lot of counting, sorting, and moving boxes around. It’s not a quiet place, especially when we’re unloading a new shipment. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a specific size or type of plastic, we go look for it in the back. Sometimes we have it, sometimes we have to wait for the next delivery. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated processes. It’s just about having the right plastic items that people are looking for at that moment. The weather in Dattawadi can get a bit warm, which makes the warehouse feel even stuffier, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the day’s tasks. It’s just us doing our bit in the neighborhood, making sure the local shops and houses have the plastic supplies they require for their everyday lives without any hassle.
