Stewols & Co.

Our place is out in the industrial estate on Kamptee Road. It’s 5B in Uppalwadi, right where all the trucks come through. It’s pretty noisy around here. We’ve been running Stewols & Co. from this spot for quite a bit. The building is an old industrial unit. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the machines running all day. We do a lot of heavy lifting. Most of the time, the floor is busy with workers moving crates around. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back near the loading bay. We focus on the work itself rather than how the office looks. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend the money on keeping the equipment in good shape. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here from the city center, but it works for what we do. We have some steady regulars who know where to find us. We make sure the stuff we send out is decent. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, which slows us down. We just wait it out and drink some tea. That’s just part of life in Uppalwadi. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going. We just try to get the orders loaded and sent before the traffic gets too bad in the evening. That is how it goes.
