Our office is located up on Wadi Tekdi in Sariputra Nagar, right along Amravati Road here in Nagpur. It’s a high spot, so we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice in the heat. Being on the main road makes it convenient for the trucks and equipment to move in and out without getting stuck in small side streets. We’ve been working out of this location for quite some time now. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and plenty of space for all the files we have to keep. Infrastructure is a heavy business, so we’re used to the noise and the dust that comes with it. We aren't much for fancy marketing or trying to sound like a big city firm. We’re just local people who know how to build things. A lot of our time is spent coordinating with different crews and making sure the materials like cement and steel arrive when they are supposed to. Sometimes they don’t, and then we have to spend the afternoon on the phone trying to track them down. It’s a lot of problem-solving every single day. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. People drop by now and then to talk about work or just to say hello. We keep things informal and try to treat everyone fairly. It’s a tough business but we enjoy the challenge of seeing things through.
