Srd Money Nidhi Limited

If you are around Chhatrpati Square in the evenings, you know how loud it gets. Srd Money Nidhi Limited is right near there, on the second floor of Plot No. 8 B in Vishram Nagar. You have to walk up the stairs, and sometimes the light in the stairwell is a bit dim. Once you get to the second floor, our office is right there. It’s a decent-sized room with a view of the Ring Road. We spend a lot of time looking out at the traffic while we wait for people to come in. Most of our members are local shopkeepers or residents from the Vishram Nagar area. They come in to pay their installments or just to see how their accounts are doing. We don’t have fancy software that does everything. We still use a lot of paper and ink. My hands usually have a bit of pen ink on them by the end of the day. It’s just how it goes when you’re writing everything down. We have a small water filter in the corner and a few plastic chairs for people to wait. Sometimes we have three or four people crowded in at once, and it gets a bit tight. But nobody really minds. We talk about the weather or the news while we count out the cash. It’s a very normal, local way of doing things. No big corporate suits here. We just want to be a place where the people on Ring Road can stop by and sort their money.
