Splendidlogistics

Splendidlogistics is based out of No. 202 in Suyog Apartments. It might seem a bit unusual to have a logistics business running from an apartment building, but it works for us. We don’t need a giant warehouse right here because most of our work involves coordinating transport and tracking shipments from a computer. The phone rings a lot during the day with drivers calling in or customers asking where their packages are. It’s a lot of looking at schedules and making sure trucks are moving when they are supposed to. We handle the paperwork and the planning side of moving goods from one place to another. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a delivery is delayed or a route is blocked, but we just stay on the phone until it gets sorted out. The office is basically just a few desks, some maps, and a lot of notebooks filled with contact numbers and dates. We aren't trying to be some massive global corporation. We just focus on getting things from point A to point B without too much trouble. Living and working in the same general area makes things easier for us. We know the local roads and the shortcuts, which helps when we have to give directions to the guys on the road. It’s a busy life, but it keeps the days interesting and keeps us very connected to the local movement of goods across the city.
