Our place is down in the Uppal Wadi industrial estate, specifically at units 9-10 B. We have been working with steel wool for a long time now. It is dusty work, but someone has to do it. The machinery at Spick-N-Span Steelwools Pvt. Ltd. is old but it still runs fine for what we need. Most of our days are spent on the factory floor making sure the lines are moving. It isn't the cleanest job in the world, as you might guess from the materials we handle. We have got a small crew here who knows the ropes. The estate gets pretty loud during the day, so we usually just focus on getting the stacks ready for shipping. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just make the product and get it out to whoever needs it. Some days are faster than others, depending on the orders. It’s a straightforward business model we follow. We have seen a lot of neighbors come and go in Uppal Wadi over the years. We just keep doing our thing in our corner of the estate. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the hum of the equipment before you see the door. It’s just how we live and work every day. No big fancy offices here, just a practical workspace where we get the real work done. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks when things get too hectic.
