Sona Alloys Pvt. Ltd.

Our office is in the Kanak Apartment, Plot No. A, over in Daga Layout. We are listed under Yashwant R. Gadgil, and this has been our base for Sona Alloys Pvt. Ltd. in Nagpur for a good while. Daga Layout is a nice enough area, mostly quiet, which is a change from the industrial sites we often have to visit. The office itself is inside the apartment building, so it has a very personal, non-corporate feel to it. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the business inside and out. The rooms are filled with desks and cabinets, and there’s usually a calendar on the wall marked up with all our deadlines. Nagpur can be a tough place to work in the peak of summer, but we make do. We focus on the alloy business without any of the fancy talk you might hear in bigger cities. It’s about getting the orders right and making sure the logistics don't fall apart. We drink a lot of tea and spend hours on the phone. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, so we get our exercise on the stairs. It’s just a normal, everyday office where people work hard. We aren't interested in being flashy. We just want to do our jobs and go home. It’s a simple, honest setup that has served us well over the years.
