We are based at Plot No.-1 in the Sankalp area of Nagpur. Being at the very first plot makes it easy for people to find us, which is a plus. Nagpur is a hot place, especially in the summer, so our office is usually humming with the sound of old fans trying to keep us cool. We’ve been running Sona Alloys Pvt Ltd from this spot for a while now. It’s not a huge facility, just a practical space where we manage the business. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. There’s always a stack of paperwork on someone’s desk and a few metal samples lying around. We spend a lot of time on the phone with clients and vendors across Maharashtra. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go as planned, but we figure it out. The neighborhood is okay, and we’ve got some good local spots for lunch nearby. We aren’t big on fancy titles or corporate rules. We just work together to get the orders processed. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit of a mess, but we still make it in every day. It’s a straightforward operation here. We value the fact that we’ve stayed in the same spot for so long. It feels like we are part of the local scenery now at Plot No.-1.
