Small & Large Animal Clinic

Working over on Umred Road means we see a whole lot of different things coming through our doors every single day. Being located near Chitnis Naga, we get plenty of local folks bringing in their dogs and cats, but since we handle larger animals too, it is never a quiet or boring day around here. Sometimes there is a cow or a goat tied up out back and the noise can get pretty loud when the animals start talking to each other. The building at 237 Matashree is not brand new by any means, and to be honest, the floors get pretty muddy whenever it starts raining outside. We spend a good chunk of our time just cleaning up paw prints and whatever else the animals might leave behind on the tiles. It is just a small crew of us working here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to holding down a nervous horse for an exam. We do not really have a set schedule that stays the same for more than a few minutes because you never know who is going to show up at the gate with an emergency. My boots are usually covered in dust or mud by noon, and the tea in the back room always seems to go cold before I can drink it. People bring their pets in and tell us long stories about them, which is probably the most interesting part of the job.
