Sihanad Foundation

Sihanad Foundation operates out of a flat, specifically number B201 in the Green City complex at Hajari Pahad. This is in the 440013 zip code area of Nagpur. Since we are based in a residential complex like G.N.S.S, the atmosphere is quite different from a traditional office building. It’s much quieter, except for the usual sounds of the neighborhood. We use this space to manage everything for the foundation. It’s just a few of us working here, often sitting around the dining table with our laptops. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. People who need to find us usually have to call ahead so we can explain which wing of Green City we are in. Our days are filled with phone calls, sorting through mail, and planning our next steps. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or a dedicated IT department. If something breaks, one of us usually tries to fix it ourselves. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. Being in Nagpur, we are used to the local rhythm of life. We enjoy the fact that our workspace feels more like a home than a cold office. It makes the long hours of work feel a bit more comfortable. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized as best as we can. It’s a simple life and it works for us.
