Shruti Clinical Lab

We are located in Sukhdev Nagar, right across the street from Siddeshwar Hall. It’s a handy landmark because there’s almost always some function or event happening there. Our lab is where people come when they need to get their blood drawn or bring in samples for testing. It’s a very practical environment. We have a lot of glass tubes, needles, and those little plastic cups everywhere. The smell of spirit and cleaning fluid is pretty much always in the air. We start quite early in the morning because that’s when most people need to do their fasting tests. It can be a bit of a rush before 9:00 AM. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some tables and the machines we use for the analysis. The floor is white tile, which we try to keep spotless. Sometimes the noise from a wedding across at the hall makes it hard to hear, but we manage. People are usually a little nervous about needles, so we try to just get on with it quickly. It’s a small team here, and we spend most of our time looking at slides or typing up results on the old computer. It’s not the most exciting job, but it’s important for the people in Sukhdev Nagar. We just keep our heads down and do the testing.
