Shri Krishna Clinic

Shri Krishna Clinic is sitting near Choudhary Chowk in the Jaripatka area. If you know Nagpur at all, you know Jaripatka is a very lively place with a lot of shops and people. We are right there near the chowk, so there is always noise from the scooters and people talking loudly outside. The clinic itself is pretty basic inside. We have our desks and the small exam rooms. It’s not a huge place, so it can feel a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting at the same time for their turn. We try to keep things moving along as best we can. Most of the folks who come in live right around the corner. We see grandmothers, young kids, and everyone in between. It’s a community spot, really. We don't do anything flashy or modern. We just listen to what’s wrong and try to help people out. The fan usually hums in the background while we work. Some days the heat in Nagpur gets to be a bit much, but we stay inside and keep at the work. Being near Choudhary Chowk makes it easy for people to find us, which is a good thing. We’ve been part of this street for a while now. You get to know the shopkeepers nearby and the regular people walking past the window. It’s just a regular clinic in a busy part of town, doing the same thing every day for our neighbors here in Jaripatka.
