Shree Sai Refractories & Minerals

We are tucked away at 75/7 on Halsey Road, right in the middle of all the noise and bustle. Being here at Shree Sai Refractories & Minerals usually means dealing with a lot of dust and heavy lifting. People come by looking for stuff that can handle high heat, and we spend most of our mornings moving bags around or checking the stock in the back. It is not a quiet place, especially when the trucks are trying to squeeze through the narrow parts of the street. My desk is usually covered in some kind of grit from the minerals we keep, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We have been in this spot for a while now. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by, while other days everyone wants their orders at the exact same time. It gets hot in the summer, and the fans do not do much besides move the warm air around. We mostly deal with refractory materials and different types of minerals that people need for their furnaces or construction projects. It is straightforward work, really. There are no fancy offices here, just the warehouse and a small space to sit and talk to whoever walks in. Most of the people who come here are regulars from around the area who know exactly what they need for their specific jobs. We just try to keep things organized.
