Shree Ramjeevan Choudhary Memorial Hospital & Reserach Centre

This hospital is located on Ramjeevan Choudhary Road, right in the Mahal area of Nagpur. It’s a bit of a long name for a place, but most people just know us by the building in New Shukrawari. We’re situated very close to the Hanuman Mandir, so the temple bells and the local activity are part of our daily background noise. Being a memorial hospital and research centre, the building is a bit bigger than your average local clinic. We have different sections for different things, but it all feels very connected to the Mahal neighborhood. The road outside can get quite jammed with traffic and people heading to the temple or the local markets. Inside, we just try to keep things orderly. It’s a lot of walking back and forth through the hallways. We have staff who have been here a long time and know the regulars. It’s not one of those shiny, new glass buildings; it’s a practical space that has seen a lot of use over the years. We handle all sorts of cases coming in from across Nagpur. The research side of things happens in the back, while the front is usually busy with people coming for checkups. It’s a lot of work keeping a place this size running in such a busy part of town. We just take it one shift at a time, making sure the floors are clean and the patients are looked after without making a big fuss.
