Shivaji Nagar is where we set up, specifically on Cement Road. It’s a fairly well-known street, so we don’t have to give directions too often. We do a lot of trading, which basically means our days are spent on the phone or checking what’s arrived in the latest shipment. The building is an older one, number 189, and it has that solid feel to it. We don’t have a massive storefront because most of our work happens behind the scenes with paperwork and logistics. It can get pretty quiet in the mornings, then suddenly everything happens at once in the afternoon. We have a small staff who have been with us for years, and we all know where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We deal with all kinds of trade items, mostly things that other businesses need to keep their operations moving. Sometimes the street gets blocked when a big truck is trying to turn, and we all have to wait, which is just part of being in this area. We don't spend money on fancy decorations; we'd rather just keep the shelves stocked. It’s a practical way to run things. Most people who drop by are just picking up an order or dropping off some samples. We like the neighborhood, it feels settled and predictable. There is always someone around to chat with during the slow hours.
