Sharingmitra Foundation

You can find us at Plot Number 3 in the Greater Nagpur Cooperative Housing Society. We are right opposite the Ambazari Garden, which is a nice landmark for anyone trying to find us. Being in Nagpur, especially near the garden, means it’s a pretty pleasant area to work in. Sharingmitra Foundation is run from this spot. The office is a basic room with a few tables pushed together. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent talking to people or checking on project progress. The garden across the street is a good place for us to walk when we need to clear our heads. We’ve been here for some time, and the building is familiar to everyone in the neighborhood. We don't have any flashy signs or professional receptionists. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. The furniture is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't really matter for what we do. We focus on the practical side of things. We usually have some snacks around and a lot of water because it gets really hot in Nagpur during the summer months. It’s a straightforward operation. We just show up every day and do what’s on the list. No fancy mission statements, just people working in a room near the garden.
