Shaikh Hamid Traders

Our shop is in Dahi Bazar, right near Subhania High School. It’s a noisy, crowded area, especially during market hours. Shaikh Hamid Traders deals in various goods. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while. The school bells ring throughout the day, so we always know what time it is. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for years. The shop is packed with inventory from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find things quickly, but we know where everything is kept. We don't have a computer system for tracking stuff; we mostly just remember or write it in a ledger. It's a family-run kind of thing. We open early when the market starts to wake up. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to check prices. We don't do fancy packaging. You get what you buy, usually in a simple bag or box. Trading is about being fair and showing up every day. Some days are slow, and we just sit on the stools outside and watch the traffic. Other days, we don’t even have time to eat lunch. Dahi Bazar is a tough place to work sometimes because of the congestion, but it's where the business is. We like being part of the local market scene. We have a small corner where we keep our drinking water and some old chairs. It’s not much, but it’s home for us during the day. The ceiling fan makes a clicking sound.
